Remarks/Notes

Overview

Remarks are comments about an estimate that print in all reports.  Notes are comments that print in the Data Entry Report only.  Use the Remarks/Notes screen to do the following:

Add a Remark/Note

Edit a Remark/Note

Delete a Remark/Note

The Remarks/Notes Screen

This screen has two major parts:

The data items that you enter or select for each remark or note (using the Remark Detail portion of the screen) are:

Date Entered

Reference Date

Remark

Note

Remarks Entered

The Remark Entered list at the top of the Remarks screen displays the remarks and notes you have entered in the section.  Use this list as follows:

Use the Remark Detail at the bottom of the screen to enter or change the following information for the remark or note.

Use the Remark Entered list at the top of the Remarks screen to select the remark to edit or change, or to add a remark, as follows:

Date Entered

This is the date you initially entered the remark.  It is automatically set by Commercial Estimator based on the current date in the Eastern Time Zone in the United States.

Reference Date

Enter a Reference Date for the remark or note, in the format mm-dd-yyyy.

Remark

Enter any text about the section that prints in all the reports.

Note

Enter any text about the section that prints in the Data Entry Listing report (but not in the Detailed Report or Summary Report).
