The low cost represents light shading for waiting or auto detailing areas with minimum paving and electrical service, and with no walls. The fair to average quality are the average to good service or entry canopies with good column supports, roofing, soffit finish, concrete floor and lighting without walls. The good to excellent canopy is for the wash tunnel canopies or enclosures with some walls, roofing, concrete floor, drains, sump and electrical commensurate with the quality range.

The following are not included in the costs: Car wash equipment and yard improvements.
