These light commercial three-walled buildings are designed for the storage and maintenance of equipment. Walls are usually either block or some type of metal or wood over the frame. Roof systems are either steel or wood, and the floors are concrete or asphalt. The better qualities will generally have good electrical circuits and/or water service.

For structures with extensive shop or office areas, use occupancy 528 (Service Repair Garage).

The following is not included in the costs: Service equipment.

For this occupancy, which may have one or more open sides, you should always enter the actual walled perimeter. If the shape option is used, the program calculates perimeter based on a three-sided structure.
