445 Log Home

These structures are detached single family residences designed for one-family ownership or occupancy and year round use. They are built with solid wood exterior walls (interconnected logs). There are several typical designs and styles. The log shell is often partially or totally precut for convenience in installation. The interior is usually consistent with a conventional home of equal quality.

Base quality selection on the inspection of both the interior and exterior refinements of the home. Items such as fenestration (the number and size of window and door openings), roof configuration, materials, workmanship, types of plumbing fixtures, and amount of cabinetry are all indicators of quality.
