Wood frame, typically 2" x 4", 16" on center, with drywall (gypsum board) nailed over it. Joints and nail holes of the drywall are taped and spackled. Depending on the structural requirements of the building, these wood-frame partitions may be of 2" x 6" construction. The drywall has some type of a finish, either paint or wall covering.
