A hardwood or softwood tile laid in mastic in a decorative pattern to create a parquet design. Standard thickness for the tiles is 5/16", but heavier tile may be between 11/16" and 13/16". The size of the tile also varies from between 9" x 9" and 36" x 36". Tile edges may be either beveled or squared.
