DC Concrete, Reinforced, Class B

Reinforced concrete columns and beams which support the weight of the floor and roof in a fully framed building. The columns and beams may either be precast or formed and poured on site. This type of construction is characteristic of Class B buildings if the floors and roof are also of fire-resistive material. Enter a percentage of the floor area for partially framed buildings.

Quality Selection

Consider the size, spacing and composition of the supports when selecting the quality. Generally, prefabricated members, such as joists, are low quality, while site built members are high quality. Also take into consideration the thickness of the deck when selecting the quality.
