A concrete foundation for Class C, D or S buildings, where a light reinforced grade beam carries all of the load.
Excavation, trenching, forming, reinforcing, concrete and backfill.
Column footings. For column footings supporting a roof or floor load use one of the following components:
CD (Concrete Column Footing, Wood Column)
CDA (Concrete Column Footing, Wood Column, Light Pole Frame)
CE (Concrete Column Footing, Steel Column)
CF (Concrete Column Footing, Concrete Column)
Consider the following when selecting a quality:
Load supported: The greater the load, the higher the quality.
Size and shape: The higher the ratio of the perimeter to floor area, the higher the quality.
Load-bearing capacity of the soil: The lower the capacity, the higher the quality.
Topography: Stepped foundations require a higher quality.
Climate: The deeper the frost line, the higher the quality.
