A concrete foundation for a fully framed, finished pole-frame building. The walls are not load bearing. The weight of the structure is transmitted to the foundation through the pole frame.
Excavation, trenching, forming, reinforcing, concrete and backfill required for both perimeter and interior footings and foundation.
Consider the following when selecting a quality:
Load supported: The greater the load, the higher the quality.
Size and shape: The higher the ratio of the perimeter to floor area, the higher the quality.
Load-bearing capacity of the soil: The lower the capacity, the higher the quality.
Topography: Stepped foundations require a higher quality.
Climate: The deeper the frost line, the higher the quality.
