The cost includes consideration of the type of controls, speed, capacity, power door operation, number of stops, series of banks, etc. typical for the occupancy, class and quality of the building being evaluated.
Changing the quality adjusts or allows for more or less dollars, based on a square foot of total floor area (to account for variations from the typical or average costs, based primarily on density).
